A unique natural environment
The park is located in the northernmost area of the Pallars Sobirà region, in the Pyrenees, in an unparalleled natural environment. It is located at the entrance to the Valls d’Àneu, a sub-region delimited and with its own historical personality that offers the visitor a very well preserved natural heritage and an extensive cultural and historical wealth. Specifically, it is located in the municipality of Guingueta d’Àneu, on the banks of the Torrassa reservoir, surrounded by water and red pine forest. It is surrounded by the Natural Park of the Alt Pirineu, the largest of Catalonia. At 15km from the park, there’s one of the entrances to the National Park of Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici, the only national park of Catalonia, where the High mountain landscape has an impressive relief and a great wealth of fauna, vegetation and water, with almost 200 ponds and countless streams.
The entry, exit and transit paths for the facilities will be adapted to guarantee the safety distance between clients visiting the park.
